Cabo Frio hosts 12th Sabores Gastronomy Festival

The 12th edition of the Sabores de Cabo Frio Festival is launching with a record 70 participating establishments. The event begins with the Vila Gastronômica, held from August 27 to 30 near the Transatlantic Terminal in Passagem. This initial phase features 53 establishments offering appetizers, main courses, and desserts at fixed price points.

Following the Vila Gastronômica, the festival will continue from September 4 to October 4 across the 70 participating restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. This year’s theme, “Family Recipes,” focuses on unique dishes inspired by tradition. The festival aims to stimulate local tourism and strengthen the regional gastronomic sector.
