Cabo Frio hosts gastronomy festival themed around family recipes

The 12th edition of the Sabores de Cabo Frio Festival is centered on the theme ‘Family Recipes,’ highlighting the connection between food and personal history. More than 70 establishments, including restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, are participating by creating dishes inspired by childhood memories and ancestral traditions.

Before the main event begins in restaurants, a Gastronomic Village will be set up near the Transatlânticos Terminal in Passagem from August 27 to August 30. This area will offer tasting portions of festival dishes at fixed prices, alongside culinary classes and activities led by professional chefs and sommeliers. The full festival will run from September 4 to October 4, with participating venues serving regular-sized portions of their themed creations.
