Cabo San Lucas launches bilingual tourist information module
The Los Cabos municipal government has established a new bilingual tourist information module located within Plaza Puerto Paraíso in Cabo San Lucas. The initiative aims to provide visitors with reliable, non-commercial guidance regarding local routes, points of interest, and regional events.
Staffed directly by the municipal Tourism Department, the desk is intended to offer objective information, distinguishing itself from private tour operators or hotel concierges. The agreement was signed on October 14 by municipal trustee Nélida Alfaro Rosas and Plaza Puerto Paraíso general manager Livia L. Torres Castillo.
Municipal Tourism Director Ana Gabriela Navarro González stated that the project is part of a broader strategy by Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez to enhance visitor services by placing staff in high-traffic areas, such as the marina and cruise ship arrival zones. The collaboration also serves as a potential model for future partnerships between the municipality and the private sector to improve the tourist experience.
