The CAC 40 index experienced stable trading on Monday, showing minor fluctuations. By midday, the index was trading at approximately 8,483 to 8,484 points via Euronext, representing a marginal change of 0.01 percent. The total market capitalization of the companies within the index stands at approximately 2.469 trillion euros.
During the session, the index reached a daily high of 8,488.41 points and a low of 8,458.31 points. Year-to-date, the CAC 40 has seen an increase of roughly 3.5 percent.
In terms of individual stock performance, Stellantis recorded the highest trading volume. LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton remains the most valuable company in the index with a market capitalization of 222.582 billion euros. Additionally, Renault is projected to have the lowest price-to-earnings ratio and the highest dividend yield within the index for 2026, according to FactSet estimates.
