Caccuri honors Roberto Sergio with honorary citizenship and Lifetime Achievement Award

The town of Caccuri, Italy, hosted the 15th edition of the Caccuri Literary Prize, organized by the Accademia dei Caccuriani. The event served as a forum for discussing literature, geopolitics, artificial intelligence, and the responsibilities of modern information.

During the ceremony, Roberto Sergio, the Corporate General Director of Rai and General Director of San Marino RTV, was granted honorary citizenship by the municipality and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Accademia dei Caccuriani. The awards recognize his four decades of work in both public and private sectors, as well as his contributions to culture and information. Sergio expressed a personal connection to the region, stating Caccuri is "also my home."

Discussions at the event also included perspectives from Domenico Maduli on the relationship between publishing and digital media, emphasizing the need for verification and quality in an era of rapid information consumption.
