Cachoeira do Sul approves Casa Lilás coordination role

The City Council of Cachoeira do Sul has approved two legislative projects. One project creates a commission position for a coordinator of the Casa Lilás Institutional Reception Service.

Casa Lilás is a municipal public service under the Unified Social Assistance System (SUAS), linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Social Development. It is designed to provide temporary shelter for women facing grave threats or risk of death due to domestic or family violence. The service will have a maximum capacity of ten spots for women and their dependents, offering a secure, confidential, and humanized environment to ensure physical, psychological, and social protection.

A second approved project authorizes the Municipal Executive to provide a contribution of R$ 190,550.00 to the Traditionalist and Cultural Association of Cachoeira do Sul (ATC) to fund local cultural events.
