CADDi launches Manufacturing AI Data Platform to centralize industrial data
CADDi Inc. has announced the launch of its ‘Manufacturing AI Data Platform,’ a new service designed to accelerate manufacturing processes by centralizing fragmented company information. The platform aims to reduce ‘rework’ and enable parallel processing of manufacturing stages by aggregating data from design, procurement, production, and quality control into a single common foundation.
The system utilizes a unique ‘data semantics foundation’ to organize diverse data types, including CAD files, BOM, ERP, and Excel spreadsheets, into a structured ‘map of data.’ Key components include ‘CADDi Explorer,’ a search engine capable of cross-referencing technical, accounting, and supply chain data, and ‘CADDi Agent,’ an autonomous AI designed to support practical tasks. The AI agent can simulate the decision-making of experienced employees, such as identifying part standardization candidates or assessing the impact of quality defects.
To support specific stages of the value chain, CADDi is also releasing six specialized tools, including ‘CADDi Composer’ for design risk assessment and ‘CADDi Cost Review’ for cost comparison. These tools are designed to capture ‘tacit knowledge’—the reasoning behind specific design or procurement choices—and convert it into structured data to continuously improve the AI’s accuracy.
