Caden Kvapil to make NASCAR Truck Series debut at Bristol

Caden Kvapil is set to make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut on September 17, 2026, at Bristol Motor Speedway. The 19-year-old, who is currently the CARS Tour points leader, will drive the No. 76 Chevrolet Silverado for Freedom Racing Enterprises (FRE).

Spencer Boyd, the owner of FRE and the regular driver of the No. 76 truck, is stepping out of the seat to provide Kvapil with the opportunity. The debut will be supported by sponsors Nor-Cal Equipment Rentals and Dirty Graphix. Kvapil, the son of former NASCAR champion Travis Kvapil, noted the significance of making his debut during the Bristol Night Race weekend.

Boyd stated that the team's focus this year has been on growth and building for the future, noting that Kvapil’s consistent performance in the CARS Tour made him a primary candidate for the step up to the Truck Series.
