CADI hosts venous Doppler ultrasound workshop in Santo Domingo

The Centro Avanzado de Diagnóstico e Imagen (CADI) held a theoretical and practical update workshop on venous Doppler ultrasound of the lower limbs in Santo Domingo. The event, held on August 29 and 30, gathered approximately 23 medical professionals and sonography technicians from across the Dominican Republic.

The academic sessions were led by doctors Carolina Constanzo and Hipólita Guzmán, featuring a special intervention by vascular and endovascular surgeon Dr. Nelson Encarnación. Dr. Encarnación provided guidance on essential elements for Doppler venous reports and conducted a live practical demonstration alongside Dr. Rosa Sánchez.

The workshop was organized in collaboration with the Colegio Médico Dominicano (CMD) and the Sociedad Dominicana de Sonografía, with sponsorship from Matos Corredores de Seguros and Tecnomed. Dr. Carolina Espinosa, director of CADI, emphasized that continuous training is a pillar of diagnostic quality and clinical accuracy.
