Cadillac considers exporting Celestiq electric luxury sedan

Cadillac is evaluating the possibility of exporting its Celestiq, an electric luxury flagship, to international markets including Europe. The 5.52-meter long shooting brake style limousine is produced by hand at the Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, exclusively upon customer request.

Production of the vehicle began in December 2023. The manufacturing process is highly limited, with a maximum of six vehicles in progress at any time and a capacity of two completed units per day. Each buyer is assigned a personal concierge to assist with the highly customizable ordering process, which allows for individual specifications of nearly every detail, including the interior and exterior paint.

Technically, the Celestiq is built on a custom-tailored GM Ultium electric platform. The vehicle weighs over three tons and features a 111-kWh battery providing a range of 483 kilometers. It is equipped with two electric motors providing a combined output of 488 kW (664 hp) and 875 Nm of torque, enabling a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.8 seconds. The car supports DC fast charging at up to 200 kW.
