Cadillac F1 struggles prompt criticism from Günther Steiner

Former Haas team principal Günther Steiner has criticized the performance of the Cadillac Formula 1 team, suggesting that the American organization likely has much higher expectations than their current results reflect.

Steiner noted that despite having significant financial resources and an experienced driver lineup featuring Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez, the team has struggled to find competitive pace. He attributed the recent replacement of team director Graeme Lowdon with Marcin Budkowski to this disappointing start. Steiner emphasized that the technical sophistication of F1 makes it difficult for new entries to climb the ranks quickly, stating that even elite drivers like Max Verstappen would struggle to achieve significant results in the current Cadillac car.

While Cadillac continues to chase its first championship point, Steiner warned that the team appears to be heading in the wrong direction rather than improving, despite the high level of engineering and talent available to them.
