Cadillac F1 team denies tension with driver Sergio Pérez
Cadillac has rejected claims that there are conflicts with Mexican driver Sergio Pérez. Team boss Graeme Lowdon said that differing opinions are part of the growth process for a new squad and highlighted the work of both Pérez and Valtteri Bottas in developing the car.
Pérez voiced frustration after the Hungarian Grand Prix, saying the car’s performance was below his expectations and that he hoped for a faster evolution of the project. Cadillac responded that the drivers’ observations are normal and will help improve the team ahead of upcoming races, including the Dutch Grand Prix.
