Cadillac F1 Team Heads to Barcelona GP Motivated After Monaco Penalty

At the Monaco Grand Prix, Cadillac driver Sergio Pérez crossed the line in 10th place, which would have been the team's first championship point, but a post‑race penalty removed the points, leaving the American‑run outfit without any score.

Team principal Graham Loudon praised the effort, saying, “The team did a great job in Monaco … now we have to adapt to the different setup in Barcelona.” Both Pérez and veteran teammate Valtteri Bottas expressed that the Barcelona‑Catalunya circuit offers a fresh chance to deliver a clean weekend and chase a top‑ ten finish. Reserve driver Colton Herta will step in for Pérez during the first practice session to gather data and help the team fine‑tune the car.

Cadillac aims to translate the morale boost from Monaco into a reliable performance in Spain, hoping to finally secure points and improve its standing in the constructors’ championship.
