Cadillac launches electric SUV operations in Brazil
Cadillac is officially launching its commercial operations in Brazil, marking the brand's first South American market for its international expansion phase. The initial rollout focuses exclusively on electric SUVs, with the LYRIQ and VISTIQ models entering pre-sale. The LYRIQ features 500 cv and an estimated autonomy of 405 km, while the larger VISTIQ offers up to 604 cv and a three-row configuration for six passengers.
In addition to the electric lineup, General Motors is reportedly working on the homologation process for the Cadillac Escalade to bring the luxury SUV to the Brazilian market. While regulatory requirements and safety standards have previously complicated the import of North American models, the progress on the Escalade's homologation suggests it may arrive in Brazil sooner than expected. The brand's initial experience centers are scheduled to open in November, with a network initially concentrated in São Paulo, Curitiba, and Brasília.
