Cadillac unveils V-ONE concept car with 830hp hybrid engine
Cadillac has unveiled the V-ONE concept car at Monterey Car Week. Inspired by its Le Mans racing model, the vehicle features an 830-horsepower V8 hybrid powertrain that shares foundations with the Cadillac V-Series.R race car.
Developed in collaboration with Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis manufacturer Dallara, the concept aims to provide ‘factory-level prototype performance and technology’. The car utilizes shared architectural elements including suspension, transmission, and specific electronic systems.
The exterior features a hand-sprayed paint gradient that transitions from silver to deep navy to represent a day-to-night effect. The interior cockpit is designed with a racing influence, featuring a steering wheel noted for its resemblance to a gaming controller and a manual switch for adjusting brake bias.
