Cadoux Advances HPA Battery Material, Boosts Rare‑Earths Projects

Cadoux Limited reported major progress in the second quarter of 2026 on its High‑Purity Alumina (HPA) project. The company successfully qualified its premiumHPA® material for next‑generation lithium‑ion battery separators within the European SAFELOOP consortium, demonstrating improved heat resistance and reduced risk of thermal runaway. The qualification is presented as a step toward strategic partnerships and future supply agreements, while engineering work continues on a demonstration plant that will precede commercial‑scale production.

At the same time, Cadoux expanded its critical minerals portfolio by joining the Wimmera Mineral Sands Joint Venture in Victoria, Australia. The venture gives the company access to a 1,380 km² exploration area rich in rare‑earth elements, zircon and titanium sands. Cadoux initially holds a 70 % stake, with plans to increase to 80 %, and has begun an initial drilling program comprising 101 air‑core holes covering 2,864 m.
