Cadoux and SAGA Metals Advance Critical Mineral Projects in Australia and Canada

Cadoux Limited is expanding its critical‑mineral portfolio with a focus on rare earths, high‑purity alumina (HPA) and a new processing platform. In June the company entered the Wimmera Mineral Sands Project in Victoria, Australia, under an earn‑in agreement that could give it up to 80 % of the rights. Cadoux aims to deliver a JORC‑compliant resource by the end of 2026, targeting 50‑100 million tonnes containing elevated zircon and rare‑earth concentrations. The firm also participates in MinHub Operations, a joint venture in Darwin that will process mineral‑sand concentrates into rare‑earth, zircon and titanium products, potentially using material from the Wimmera project.

SAGA Metals Corp. has signed a sales agreement with Orion Iron Ore Ltd. for the North Wind iron‑ore project in the Labrador Trough, Canada. The deal provides SAGA with a stake, a board seat and a royalty, keeping the company positioned in the Labrador corridor—a historic iron‑ore belt that has produced more than 3 billion tonnes. The transaction supports SAGA’s strategy of disciplined value creation in critical‑mineral assets while expanding its exposure to the North Wind project.
