Caelia personal diary app launched by Catalan engineer
Josep Bordes, a Catalan engineer based in Zurich, has developed Caelia, a personal diary and meditation application designed to promote healthier mobile usage and mental well-being. The app features a unique interface with soft colors and a cloud-shaped personal assistant that responds to the user's mood with comforting words.
Caelia is currently available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with an Android version scheduled for release in December 2026. Notably, the application does not use artificial intelligence, ensuring that user data remains private. While the app is free to download, it offers weekly and annual subscription options.
Bordes intends to collaborate with psychologists to further enhance the app's utility in addressing modern stress and mental health challenges.
