CAEM/Scarfiotti hosts vintage motorcycle homologation in Montecassiano
The CAEM/Scarfiotti social headquarters recently hosted its annual ASI homologation session for historic motorcycles. The event, reserved for members and enthusiasts from nearby clubs, involved the technical examination of 27 motorcycles by the ASI Technical Commission.
Featured vintage models included a 1917 Harley-Davidson T Side, a 1925 Moto Guzzi C4V, a 1934 Moto Guzzi Airone, and a 1937 Benelli 4TSSR, among others. The collection spanned various brands, including Gilera, Honda, BMW, Lambretta Innocenti, Kawasaki, Vespa Piaggio, and Ducati models from the late 1990s. The process follows Automotoclub Storico Italiano directives to ensure the originality and historical integrity of the vehicles.
Due to ongoing renovation work at the Macerata exhibition district, the annual vintage auto and motorcycle exchange show will not be held this year. The event is instead scheduled to return in 2027. Additionally, elections for the Board of Directors for the 2027-2029 term are set to take place in Montecassiano on November 29.
