Caen court tries two individuals for drug trafficking

Two individuals, identified as Dylan (25) and Karim (20), appeared before the Caen criminal court on September 3, 2026, to face charges related to drug trafficking. The charges include the acquisition, possession, transport, and sale of narcotics occurring between May and October 2025 in the Manche and Calvados departments.

A police search of a hotel room in Mondeville uncovered approximately 2,000 euros in cash, cannabis resin, marijuana, cocaine, three mobile phones, and a precision scale. During the proceedings, Dylan admitted to working as a delivery driver for a monthly income exceeding 2,000 euros. The prosecution expressed concern regarding the defendants' nonchalant attitude toward the proceedings.
