Caerphilly thieves steal 11 Nissan Jukes in 24 hours

In Caerphilly, Wales, thieves stole 11 Nissan Jukes within a 24-hour period last Thursday and Friday. Gwent Police confirmed that all 11 Nissan Jukes have since been recovered, along with a Kia Niro and a Nissan Navara that were also reported stolen. No arrests have been made.

Security experts noted that the Nissan Juke is frequently targeted due to its valuable spare parts and ease of theft. Data from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) indicates the Nissan Juke Tekna is the most stolen car in the UK for 2026. Experts recommend using steering locks and parking vehicles in ways that make them more difficult to move, such as driving onto a driveway rather than reversing onto it.
