MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment report Q3 2026 financial results

Major gaming operators MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment released their third-quarter 2026 financial results, showing mixed performance across different markets.

MGM Resorts reported a 1% year-on-year revenue decline to $4.2 billion, with a net loss of $17 million. While Las Vegas revenue fell due to lower room rates, MGM China saw record revenue of approximately HK$8.9 billion, achieving a record 17.1% market share in Macau. The company noted that iGaming remains a primary growth engine, driving nearly 70% of net revenue from operations. Management is currently focusing capital on share repurchases and a flagship resort project in Japan, targeted for a 2030 opening.

Caesars Entertainment reported a 2.5% increase in GAAP net revenues to $2.9 billion. Despite the revenue growth, the company reported a GAAP net loss of $123 million. Performance varied by segment: regional and Caesars Digital revenues saw improvements, while Las Vegas and managed/branded segments experienced declines. Following the approval of its acquisition by Fertitta Entertainment, reports suggest Caesars CEO Tom Reeg may lead the combined leisure segment.
