CAEX completes Level 4 information security assessment

CAEX (Vietnam Prosperity Crypto Asset Exchange Joint Stock Company), an entity within the VPBank ecosystem, has announced the successful completion of a Level 4 information system security assessment. This assessment was conducted and approved by the Cybersecurity Department of the Ministry of Public Security.

Under Resolution 05/2025/NQ-CP, organizations providing crypto asset services in Vietnam must meet Level 4 information security requirements before commencing operations. This milestone marks a significant step for CAEX in meeting the technological and security infrastructure standards required to obtain an operating license in the Vietnamese crypto asset market.

To ensure security, CAEX has integrated multi-layered protection mechanisms, including transaction matching systems, crypto asset custody, hot and cold wallet management, and cryptographic key protection. The company has also implemented customer identity verification (KYC), anti-money laundering (AML) tools, and blockchain transaction monitoring to mitigate risks.
