Café Chaiwala expands UK presence with new South London outlet
The Pakistani café brand Café Chaiwala, associated with viral entrepreneur Arshad Khan, is expanding its presence in the United Kingdom with the opening of a new outlet in Sutton, South London.
Asif Khalique, the brand’s UK master franchise holder, is leading the expansion. Following the Sutton launch, which was attended by local civic officials, the business plans to open additional branches in Norbury, Leyton, and New Malden within the coming weeks. A fourth location is also in development.
The café specializes in traditional Pakistani tea varieties, such as Karak Chai and Kashmiri Chai, alongside South Asian street food including halwa puri, parathas, and seekh kebab rolls. Khalique stated that there is significant demand for the brand across the UK and Europe, with the goal of establishing Café Chaiwala as a mainstream British brand rooted in Pakistani culture.
