Café Herzglück opens second site in Schwabach as berry me launches Açaí bowls in Nuremberg

Katharina Schammann, the owner of Café Herzglück, which has been operating in Nuremberg’s Äußere Sulzbacher Straße since early 2025, announced a return to Schwabach. The new branch will be located at Königstraße 1, occupying the former premises where her café operated from 2020 to 2024. Schammann said the decision stems from loyal customers in Schwabach and the suitability of the space, and the concept will mirror the Nürnberg outlet with coffee, self‑made cakes and vegan/gluten‑free options.

At the same time, a new café called berry me opened on Hefnersplatz 1 in Nuremberg. The venue, which replaces the previously popular café hype, focuses on layered Açaí bowls with fresh fruit, chia pudding and a variety of toppings. The modest shop has eight tables, a purple‑tinted counter and a minimalist interior. It caters to the growing Açaí trend while retaining a small‑scale neighbourhood feel.
