CAG and ICSSR host public finance colloquium in Agartala

The event aimed to demystify government reports and translate complex financial and audit data into accessible information for civic awareness.

During the proceedings, audit officials discussed Tripura’s financial health, noting the state budget's heavy reliance on central government grants for social welfare, infrastructure, and healthcare. The colloquium included presentations from various audit officials and academics, involving over 800 students and research scholars.
