Cage The Elephant to headline NFL Munich Game 2026 halftime show

Cage The Elephant has been announced as the headlining act for the halftime show of the NFL Munich Game 2026. The performance is scheduled for November 15 at the FC Bayern Munich Arena.

The game will feature the New England Patriots against the Detroit Lions. This musical appearance is part of a series of seven halftime shows presented by American Express during the 2026 NFL International Games, which span seven countries and four continents.

Matt Shultz, singer for Cage The Elephant, expressed excitement about the global audience, noting that performing at halftime is a unique opportunity where “every second must count.” NFL senior director Tim Tubito stated the band was chosen for their live energy and to match the rock tradition of the German audience.
