Cagepa rises 36 positions in Brazil's top 1,000 companies ranking

Cagepa (Companhia de Água e Esgotos da Paraíba) has risen 36 positions in the TOP30 2025 ranking published by Veja Negócios, moving from 584th to 548th place among the 1,000 largest companies in Brazil.

The state-owned sanitation company reported significant financial growth for 2025, ending the year with a net revenue of R$ 1.743 billion, a 15.1% increase compared to the previous year. This growth rate exceeds the 6.8% average recorded by the top 1,000 Brazilian companies during the same period.

Additional financial metrics include a net equity of R$ 6.245 billion, a positive net result of R$ 177.7 million, and a return on equity (ROE) of 2.8%. Cagepa president Marcus Vinícius Fernandes Neves stated that these indicators demonstrate the company's economic-financial sustainability, which is essential for increasing investment capacity, modernizing infrastructure, and improving water and sewage services.
