Cagliari and Spezia complete player transfers

Cagliari has completed the signing of Giuseppe Aurelio from Spezia. The player, who recently arrived at Elmas airport, is expected to sign a contract through June 30, 2030, providing depth to the left flank for manager Fabio Pisacane.

The transfer involves a deal worth approximately €800,000 to Spezia, which also includes a clause regarding a share of any future resale of the player. Aurelio joins other recent arrivals Daniel Maldini and Kevin Carlos.

Following these moves, Spezia is addressing its own roster needs. The club has signed goalkeeper Giuseppe Ciocci from Cagliari to serve as a reliable second-choice keeper. This move has raised questions regarding the future of Fallou Sarr, whose position in the squad remains uncertain due to recurring injury issues and his current contract status.
