Cagliari Calcio reports positive finances and stadium progress

Maurizio Fiori, Vice President of Cagliari Calcio 1920, has confirmed that the club’s 2025-2026 financial year concluded with a positive balance. Representing the U.S.-based fund that holds a 49% stake in the club, Fiori emphasized that the results align with a strategy of sustainability and controlled growth.

A primary focus for the club’s leadership remains the development of new infrastructure, specifically the proposed Gigi Riva stadium. Fiori stated that the club is working on the candidacy and has already begun laying the groundwork with President Tommaso Giulini to secure the necessary financial backing for the project.

The club intends to pursue ambitious goals by prioritizing the development of young players and maintaining a serious, stable management approach.
