Cagliari: Company fined over 15,000 euros for labor and safety violations

Authorities in the province of Cagliari have issued over 15,000 euros in administrative sanctions against a company following a joint inspection by the Carabinieri and the Labor Inspectorate Nucleus (NIL).

The investigation, part of an extraordinary service to combat undeclared labor and exploitation, revealed several violations of workplace safety regulations. Specifically, inspectors identified the employment of undocumented workers and a lack of mandatory documentation and required safety personnel.

The inspection was conducted as part of a broader provincial plan to protect worker rights and prevent unfair competition against compliant businesses. The findings are currently in a preliminary phase and will be evaluated by the competent authorities.
