Cagliari conducts medicals for striker Kevin Carlos and defender Giuseppe Aurelio
Italian Serie A club Cagliari has moved forward with two transfer signings as both players undergo medical examinations. Forward Kevin Carlos, a 25‑year‑old Spanish‑born striker who has pledged to represent Nigeria, is set to join Cagliari on a loan with an option to buy for a fee estimated between €3.5 million and €4 million after leaving OGC Nice in France. The deal includes a permanent fee of up to €4 million if the option is exercised.
Defender Giuseppe Aurelio, a 2000‑born left‑back, has also completed his medical at the club’s Villa Stuart facilities, finalising a permanent transfer to Cagliari. The agreement also involves a swap that will see goalkeeper Giuseppe Ciocci move from Cagliari to Spezia. Both medicals are the last procedural steps before the players are officially registered for the upcoming season.
