Cagliari Court implements official dress code regulation
The Court of Cagliari has implemented an official dress code regulation for all individuals entering the Palace of Justice, including visitors, staff, and magistrates. The directive, approved by the permanent conference, aims to restore decorum to judicial offices and ensure respect for the institution.
Prohibited items include miniskirts, shorts, beach slippers, tank tops, sleeveless garments, transparent clothing, and hats. Security personnel stationed at entry points will be responsible for enforcing these rules. While some legal professionals noted that judges and lawyers already wear robes during hearings, others argued that written rules are necessary when civic sense fails to maintain the sanctity of the judicial environment.
