Cagliari eyes young prospects and striker Kevin Carlos in transfer market

Italian Serie A club Cagliari is monitoring two of its own young players, midfielder Ivan Sulev and attacking midfielder Nicolò Cavuoti, as potential transfer targets. Sulev, a 2006‑born Bulgarian, has been a standout in Cagliari’s Primavera after joining from Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2022. Cavuoti, born in 2003, has experience in Serie A, B and C, including loan spells at Olbia and Feralpisalò, and has drawn interest from Salernitana and Ravenna.

The club is also evaluating Spanish forward Kevin Carlos, currently with French side Nizza, to fill the striker role after previous targets fell through. Carlos, a 2001‑born 186 cm, 80 kg forward, recorded 23 appearances last season, and is praised for his aerial ability and physical presence, which matches Cagliari’s tactical needs.
