Cagliari rejects 10 million euro offer from Lens for Adam Obert

Cagliari has rejected a transfer offer from the French club Lens for defender Adam Obert. The proposal reportedly totaled 10 million euros, consisting of an 8 million euro fixed fee plus 2 million euros in bonuses.

Obert, a Slovakian international who has been with Cagliari for six years, is considered a key player for the Sardinian club. He is capable of playing both in central defense and on the left flank. His importance to the squad was highlighted by a contract extension signed in March, which runs until June 30, 2030.
