Cagliari to face Rayo Vallecano in international friendly

Cagliari Calcio is scheduled to play an international friendly match against the Spanish club Rayo Vallecano on October 3. The match is set to take place in Madrid with a kickoff time of 14:00.

Due to the international break, the Sardinian club is using the period to maintain athletic conditioning and refine tactical patterns. The match serves as a high-level test for Fabio Pisacane’s squad to evaluate defensive compactness and attacking speed.

Because several players remain on international duty, the team will be operating with a modified roster. The primary objective is to provide playing time to available players and ensure the squad maintains match rhythm ahead of the resumption of the Serie A season.
