Caiman discovered under parked car in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

A caiman measuring approximately one meter in length was discovered under a parked car in the La Isleta neighborhood of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The discovery prompted an emergency response involving the Local Police and the Nature Protection Service (Seprona) of the Civil Guard.

Authorities took precautions to prevent the reptile from moving through the urban area and causing incidents. During the operation, agents immobilized the animal's mouth with tape to ensure safety. The caiman was successfully removed from the public road without any reported injuries to people or the animal.
