Cairns to host six franchise conferences in 2026

Cairns franchise conferences Black Marlin Tournament game fishing tourism business events

Cairns is hosting six franchise conferences in 2026, which are expected to attract approximately 3,450 delegates to the region. These events include the return of the Body Fit Conference and the Carpet Court Australia Conference.

Tourism Tropical North Queensland reports that the city has hosted 13 franchise conferences previously, bringing in over 6,000 delegates and injecting $27 million into the local economy. The region's appeal is attributed to its accessibility from Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, as well as its proximity to two World Heritage areas.
