Cairo Education Directorate Monitors High School Arabic Exam

Dr. Hemt Abu Keila, director of Cairo’s education directorate and head of the central operations room, oversaw the first‑stage Arabic language exam for secondary‑school students of the 2025/2026 academic year on Sunday, 28 June 2026. She conducted on‑site checks at exam rooms, confirmed that student entry and exam procedures were orderly, and enforced strict anti‑cheating measures, including bans on mobile phones and other electronic devices. The operation coordinated with sub‑rooms across educational districts to secure exam papers, answer booklets and exam venues, and to maintain continuous communication throughout the testing period.

The directorate emphasized compliance with all exam regulations and pledged ongoing monitoring to ensure a safe, quiet environment that provides equal opportunity for all candidates.
