Cairo University President issues new academic and administrative appointments

Cairo University President Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadek has issued several decrees regarding the appointment and renewal of academic and administrative leaders across various faculties and departments.

Academic appointments include the renewal of Maha Mohamed Youssef El-Khazindar as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Science, and the appointment of Yasser Ismail Abdel Salam Saleh as Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Archaeology, alongside Ahmed Mohamed Galal Mohamed Suleiman at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

Administrative changes include the appointment of several faculty secretaries for the Faculties of Archaeology, Physical Therapy, Graduate Studies for Statistical Research, and Higher African Studies, as well as a new director for the University Council Secretariat Affairs.

Dr. Abdel Sadek stated that these decisions aim to develop the institutional work system, enhance integration between academic and administrative sectors, and support the university’s transition toward becoming a ‘fourth-generation smart university’ through digital transformation and improved administrative efficiency.
