Caitlin Clark releases children's book amid WNBA discussion

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has released a new children's book titled “EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams.” Published by Random House Books for Young Readers, the rhyming picture book was inspired by a motivational quote from a mirror in her childhood home. Clark stated that the book focuses on themes of teamwork, perseverance, and self-belief, reflecting her own upbringing and professional journey.

Separately, former ESPN analysts Monica McNutt and Ryan Clark have faced criticism following a discussion on The Pivot podcast regarding Clark's impact on the WNBA. During the segment, Clark was discussed in the context of the league's growth versus the negativity and racial tensions that have accompanied her arrival. McNutt noted that teammates, such as Kelsey Mitchell, have reported receiving hateful messages due to the increased spotlight on the team. Clark herself has previously condemned toxic fan behavior.
