Caitlin Clark set to release Nike signature sneaker on Sept. 29 and hopes NBA Finals go to seven games

WNBA star Caitlin Clark will debut her first Nike signature sneaker, the “Caitlin 1,” on September 29. The shoe, developed after Clark said she demanded performance standards comparable to Kobe Bryant’s models, is expected to generate strong consumer interest.

At the same time, Clark, who is playing for the Indiana Fever, told reporters she wishes the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs stretch to a decisive seventh game. She said she enjoys the excitement in New York and wants to experience the passionate fan atmosphere, while also acknowledging the Spurs’ talent, including rookie Victor Wembanyama.
