Caitlin Clark vomits during Indiana Fever win over Atlanta Dream
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark briefly left the court to vomit early in the second half of the Fever's 83–71 victory over the Atlanta Dream. She said she tried applesauce before the episode and then emptied her stomach into a nearby trash can, after which she felt "lighter" and returned to play.
Despite the illness, Clark finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, helping Indiana secure the win. The incident occurred amid a week of heightened scrutiny of Clark’s play and a recent heated exchange with head coach Stephanie White.
The Fever's win kept them competitive in the Commissioner’s Cup matchup, while Dream forward Angel Reese scored 11 points for the losing side.
