CaixaBank named best bank for SMEs in Spain and Western Europe

CaixaBank has been recognized by Global Finance as the best bank for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Spain and Western Europe. The award highlights the institution's specialized service model, which integrates digital capabilities with personalized advisory services.

In Spain, the bank operates 212 exclusive offices dedicated to SMEs and businesses, staffed by more than 3,000 specialists. Its service structure includes 13 real estate business centers and eight DayOne centers specifically for technology and innovation companies. The bank also provides tailored solutions for sectors such as agriculture, tourism, pharmacy, and hospitality.

Financial data indicates that the bank's live credit balance for SMEs stands at 46.213 billion euros, representing a 2.8% increase compared to the end of 2025. Between January and June 2026, the entity completed over 80,000 operations with these companies, with new financing exceeding 10 billion euros.
