CaixaBank names María Guillamón security chief; Banc Sabadell hires Adela Martín
CaixaBank’s technology unit, CaixaBank Tech, has appointed María Guillamón as the new head of information security. Guillamón will work alongside the group’s chief information security officer, Alberto Rosa, to embed cyber‑security across all stages of the bank’s technology projects.
Banc Sabadell announced that Adela Martín will lead its private banking division. Martín, who previously directed private banking at Bankinter and headed wealth‑management and insurance globalisation at Grupo Santander, will report to Carlos Ventura, head of business in Spain.
In a related development, Josep Antoni Martínez Zaplana was re‑elected president of the Construction Guild of Barcelona, an association representing roughly 1,400 construction firms and self‑employed workers in the region.
