CaixaBank pledges support for Ceuta amid migratory pressure

CaixaBank has announced its commitment to supporting the economy of Ceuta following the impact of increased migratory pressure. The bank aims to provide financing and assistance to local businesses, self-employed workers, and families to help them navigate the economic uncertainty and resource pressure caused by the arrival of migrants.

Juan Ignacio Zafra, the bank’s territorial director for Andalusia, Ceuta, and Melilla, emphasized the resilience of Ceuta’s business fabric. He noted that the bank is working to ensure clients can continue their activities normally, providing agility in responding to emerging needs. The bank’s local presence includes four offices and forty professionals dedicated to supporting the community during this period.
