CaixaProinfancia school supplies vulnerable families educational support social assistance

The CaixaProinfancia program, managed by the ”la Caixa” Foundation, is supporting approximately 67,000 children and adolescents facing economic vulnerability during the return to school season.

Beyond providing essential school supplies like backpacks and notebooks, the initiative offers comprehensive year-round support. This includes educational reinforcement, psychological and speech therapy, leisure activities, and workshops for families. The program also addresses fundamental needs such as nutrition, hygiene, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to mitigate the impact of financial hardship on a child's academic and emotional development.
