Cajeme hosts inaugural Empanada Fest in Pueblito Kilómetro 9
The inaugural Empanada Fest took place in Pueblito Kilómetro 9, Cajeme, Sonora, celebrating a local culinary tradition that has existed for over 50 years. The event brought together families, entrepreneurs, and artists to promote regional gastronomy and community customs.
In addition to the sale and tasting of traditional empanadas, the festival featured various commercial stands offering crafts, jewelry, and bacanora. The cultural program included musical performances such as norteña music and rondalla, alongside activities for children.
