Brazilian municipalities launch public job competitions

The municipal governments of Coreaú and Meruoca in Ceará and Mauriti in Ceará, together with Cajueiro da Praia in Piauí, have published public‑service selection notices for 2026. The announcements detail dozens of vacancies in education, health, social assistance and administrative areas, with many positions reserved for persons with disabilities and Afro‑Brazilian candidates.

Salaries range from about R$ 1,600 for technical staff to up to R$ 4,000 for specialist roles such as auditors and pharmacists. Registration periods run from mid‑June to late July 2026, and written exams are scheduled between July and November 2026, followed by title‑evaluation stages for higher‑level posts. All selections are organized by the Consulpam or INBRASP agencies and will create reservation registers valid for two years.
