Cake 2026 Career Festival draws 20,000 job seekers in Taipei

The Cake 2026 Career Festival, hosted by the talent platform Cake, took place on September 12 at the Taipei World Trade Center. The event drew over 20,000 job seekers and featured more than 150 international and technology companies offering approximately 6,000 job opportunities.

Under the theme ‘Re-skill in AI,’ the festival highlighted a growing demand for artificial intelligence expertise across diverse sectors. Participating companies offered over 100 AI-related roles, spanning industries such as energy, semiconductors, hardware, and AI infrastructure. Notable participants included Amazon, Schneider Electric, Nanya Technology, Vertiv, and Hon Hai Technology Group.

Demographics of the attendees showed that nearly 70% possessed more than three years of professional experience, with software and hardware engineers making up 42% of registrants. The event also emphasized cross-border career opportunities and high-salary positions, with several roles offering annual salaries exceeding one million TWD.
